Description

We are excited to welcome Lauren Wesley Wilson, an award-winning businesswoman and communication specialist, to discuss her new book What Do You Need? Lauren will be in conversation with the Editor in Chief at UK Marie Claire, Andrea Thompson.

What do you need? This question, as simple as it is powerful, is not often asked of women of colour. But the answer to this question could be the difference between dreaming of a successful life and living one.

In her ground-breaking book, founder and CEO of the multimillion-dollar communications company ColorComm Corporation, Lauren Wesley Wilson, reveals the unwritten rules that women of colour need to know to succeed in the workplace. In this book, Lauren – having been at the forefront of empowering women to become leaders and changemakers in business – draws from her own career experiences to provide you with the playbook you’ll need to advance to the C-Suite.

About the author: Lauren Wesley Wilson is an award-winning businesswoman, marketer, media spokesperson, strategist and the founder and CEO of ColorComm. Lauren served as a media strategist for President Barack Obama’s re-election campaign, was a communication strategist at crisis firm Qorvis/MSL, and oversaw media strategy and crisis communications for international governments and consumer brands. Her website is www.colorcommnetwork.com.
